DraftKings Picks Week 3 Best NFL DFS lineup advice for daily fantasy football tournaments

Just like that, we are already two weeks into the season. Even though it's only been 120 minutes of NFL game action for each team, it's getting late for some already Za'Darius Smith Jersey . Playoff hopefuls are looking to avoid 0-3 starts, while others are hoping to keep their perfect season alive. Our Week 3 DraftKings lineup features a must-have stack, some underrated receivers, running backs that deserve more attention, and a defense that needs to rebound. For those entering their lineup into DraftKings' GPP tournaments, specifically Sunday's Fantasy Football Millionaire tournament, our primary objectives are to help you stand out from the majority and land in the money.WEEK 3 FANTASY: | | Before we break down all of our picks, here are the most notable scoring rules for DraftKings contests: Full-point PPR, four-point pa sing TDs, three-point bonuses for 100 rushing yards, 100 receiving yards, and 300 pa sing yards.WEEK 3 DFS: | | QB Kirk Cousins, Vikings vs. Chargers ($6,900).Two teams that don't play defense face off in the cla sic "loser leaves town" match. It's the 0-2 Vikings hosting the 0-2 Chargers in what might be the best game of the week if you love offense. Both sides are desperate and there is no shortage of scoring, and if the Vikings have 99 problems, Cousins isn't one of them. He's currently QB3 on the season and lit up a solid Eagles defense in Week 2. After getting the mini bye week, the Vikings signal-caller will have plenty to say with his arm in this game. Can the Minnesota defense hold up long enough to win? Who cares? We have Captain Kirk ready to sling it around for three hours. He's our QB1 this week trying to earn win No. 1 against Brandon Staley's nonexistent defense. If you're wondering why we're rolling with Cousins over Herbert in this one, at least Minnesota appears willing to try for their coach. We like that!RB Brian Robinson Jr., Commanders vs. Bills ($5,800).To give you an idea of how wacky the 2023 season has been thus far, Robinson is currently RB12 and plays on a team that no one thought would have a good offense. That's the Commanders, who have been scoring at will and just hung 35 points on Denver's defense. Eric Bienemy's presence has been kind to Robinson, who's earned at least 18 carries in each game and scored two touchdowns while also adding a few catches along the way. He's the feature back in Washington, and for that reason earns that role in our Week 3 lineup against a Bills team that was destroyed on the ground in Week 1 against what's proven to be a horrendous Jets' offensive line.WEEK 3 PPR RANKINGS: | | | | | RB Gus Edwards, Ravens vs. Colts ($5,300).All aboard the Gus bus. Without JK Dobbins, it's Edwards' backfield until proven otherwise. Justice Hill was a touchdown vulture twice in Week 1, but he didn't have a repeat performance in Week 2. Instead, it was Edwards who paced the Ravens in the running game with 62 yards and a touchdown. The Colts shut down the Texans on Sunday. Whether they can replicate it against the more talented Ravens rushing attack remains to be seen. According to PFF, Indianapolis owns the league's best rushing defense, but we like Edwards to see the bulk of goal-line carries, regardle s. He fits nicely into our budget for reasons we are about to lay out.WR Justin Jefferson, Chargers @ Vikings ($9,300).We can't have QB1 Cousins and not have WR1 Jefferson. Those are the rules. It's not often that we get a matchup to exploit like this one. The Vikings' receiver has picked up right where he left off in 2022, posting 150 receiving yards or more through each of the first two weeks. He's still on the hunt for that first touchdown of the year and came close in Week 2 before fumbling the ball through the back of the end zone. Against a poor Chargers secondary that let Ryan Tannehill look efficient through the air and was dominated by Tyreek Hill in the opener, it's impo sible to not give Jefferson a chance. He's the biggest a set in fantasy football and will continue to show why on Sunday.WEEK 3 STANDARD RANKINGS: | | | | | WR Michael Pittman Jr., Colts @ Ravens ($6,200).Pittman has been targeted 21 times through two weeks and gets a likely upgrade in the pa sing game on Sunday with Gardner Minshew starting if Anthony Richardson (concu sion) can't go. The bottom line with Pittman is that it doesn't seem to matter who the quarterback is right now. With 16 catches for 153 yards and a touchdown through two weeks, that volume can't be ignored. Pittman gets the nod as our second-most expensive receiver.WR Nico Collins, Texans @ Jaguars ($5,300).Collins has been a monster thus far in 2023. With six catches for 80 yards in Week 1, it left many wondering what he would do for an encore. C.J. Stroud's favorite target ended Week 2 with seven catches for 146 yards and a touchdown. That kind of upward trajectory is worth buying into. Now, we're not saying he'll catch eight pa ses for 200 yards and two touchdowns, but it wouldn't nece sarily shock us. As long as Collins remains Stroud's top target, he remains on our radar for a team that will be playing from behind more often than not.TE Dalton Kincaid, Bills @ Commanders ($3,400).Kincaid looked much better in his second game, bringing in five-of-six targets for 43 yards. The box score is noticeably lacking a touchdown, but it fails to note that he could've had one but was unable to hang onto the ball in the end zone. The fact is that the Bills run through Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs while everyone else takes turns being the next-best option each week. Dawson Knox scored against the Raiders, but we think it will be Kincaid against the Commanders. The rookie tight end should see plenty of action against a Washington defense that gave up 33 points to Ru sell Reggie White Jersey Wilson and the Broncos.FLEX WR Drake London, Falcons @ Lions ($5,000).Welcome to Week 3 of Arthur Smith vs. "the fantasy guys." It's a never-ending battle that might be the league's best rivalry at this point, seemingly doing everything in his power to stay unpredictable. It's fine, though, since his team is 2-0, though ignoring Atlanta's best players every week seems to be unsustainable when the competition steps up. Isaac Yiadom Jersey London was nowhere to be found in Week 1 before reintroducing himself in a big way in Week 2. He's simply too talented to avoid, and the Falcons have a matchup with a Lions team that can't avoid playing in high-scoring games. Maybe Smith lost a league somewhere along the way that has him feeling some type of way, but that's not London's fault. Let him cook, Arthur.DEF Jets vs. Patriots ($2,800).We close this week's lineup with a value pick, the best of the cheap options. That's life on a budget for you. The Jets did a lot of talking all offseason and were punched in the gut when Aaron Rodgers went down with a season-ending Achilles' injury. They did even more talking about beating the Bills in Week 1 despite that reality, then they took a right hook from Dak Prescott and the Cowboys, falling to the mat as Dallas dinked and dunked their way down the field all afternoon. Can the Jets get up off the mat and save the season? With 14 straight lo ses to the Patriots, it seems unlikely, but there's no better time than the present. The Patriots offense shouldn't be a problem for this pa s rush and secondary. They are too good to be that bad. We'll trust them to figure it out, even if that's the only thing we could afford. This season, we're also listing our favorite Week 3 DFS lineup on, with some of our picks and analysis overlapping. For those unfamiliar,DFS scoring involves point multipliers as opposed to traditional salary-capped or tiered contests. A winning lineup will likely feature a strong mix of stud fantasy contributors with 1x-1.6x boosts, as well as a few matchup-based sleepers with larger multipliers. Each player is a signed a scoring multiplier based on their value as determined by SuperDraft. Users can roster any player in their lineup with no restrictions.Win BIG with SuperDraft! Here are the most notable scoring rules for SuperDraft NFL contests:Half-point PPR,four-point pa sing TDs,two-point bonuses for 100 rushing yards,100 receiving yards, and 300 pa sing yards.MORE SUPERDRAFT DFS:QB: Kirk Cousins, Vikings (Multiplier 1.15x)RB: Kenneth Walker, Seahawks(Multiplier 1.25x)RB: Joshua Kelley, Chargers (Multiplier 1.3x)WR: Keenan Allen, Chargers (Multiplier 1.15x)WR: Justin Jefferson, Vikings (Multiplier 1x)WR: DJMoore, Bears (Multiplier 1.35x)TE: Hunter Henry, Patriots (Multiplier 1.5x)FLEX: Raheem Mostert, Dolphins (Multiplier 1.25x)It seems obvious at this point, but we love this Chargers vs. Vikings battle in Minnesota. In order to get as much exposure as po sible, we are taking two players from each team to enjoy a salary cap-le s society on SuperDraft. Outside of that, we like Walker against a poor rushing defense from the Panthers, Mostert to run all over the Broncos, and Henry and Moore to turn in productive days as their team's top options in the pa sing game.
